I think whomever sends the initial "like" should send the 1st message. I have no problem messaging 1st if I'm the one who like a guy's profile. My reasoning is because a lot of people swipe right/like every profile so I don't know who is genuinely interested.

I think as far as paying the bill on a date I think each should pay their share. I think it shows the other person that you are responsible and it also shows how serious they are about starting a relationship/ friendship. Women can be just as responsible as any man .

The man should always pay on first date then, the woman can take care of the 2nd date. Women should try to get their finances together and not always expect the man to pay for everything. The entitlement is ugly. And for m'en, its not because you pay for the date that we owe you sex
